Slip shawls are the ideal companions for our dear little ones, because without a knot there is not so much danger of strangulation. The shawl is loosely looped around the shoulders and fixed only by pulling one end through the loop hole. No knot or button is necessary!

Plus, this tutorial is ideal for using up leftovers. You can knit the shawl with any type of yarn.

You will find two versions in the instructions. One without lace pattern for boys and unisex and a version with lace pattern for girls.
